Class of 2018

Clayton | Illini Central Mason City Class of 2018 senior

Clayton attends school at my alma mater, Illini Central High School in Mason City.  He also happens to live across the street from my dad!  Clayton's parents Mike and Trish and I started talking a few months back about his senior photos, and we were able to nail down a date and time.  Clayton is a country boy at heart, and he wanted to include his trucks, his gun, and the puppy Chevy that he shares with his girlfriend Savannah.  Clayton isn't a big talker or smiler (ha!), but I think he did a great job listening to my posing instructions and even smiling.  He didn't complain one bit!  I also love the varying shades of blue of his two outfits, because it really helps bring out his eyes.  Thanks for a great session, Clayton & family!

Nick | St. Thomas More High School senior

Nick is in the Class of 2018 at the High School of St. Thomas More and plays on the baseball team there. His one request was to do some photos on the pitcher's mound at his school's baseball diamond, and it worked out really well!  We started out first at Dodds Park in Champaign near Parkland for a more park-like setting, and then moved over to the high school.  I loved the deep green and yellow paint on the dugouts at STM, and we worked them into the session for some extra pops of color.  I love how these turned out!  Nick plans to attend Purdue University next fall.  Best of luck, Nick!

Cody | St. Joseph-Ogden High School senior

Cody and his mom Betsy met up with me a couple weeks ago for Cody's senior session at Crystal Lake Park in Urbana.  Before the session, I asked them what things Cody was into and his main extracurricular activity is baseball.  I was excited to see that they brought along a glove and a bat, as well as a St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans hoodie and baseball cap.  I like the contrast between Cody's everyday outfit with the light blue sportiness of the hoodie.  Thanks for a great session, Cody, and best of luck with the rest of your senior year!
