Last Friday I spent an hour or so at the always lovely Pear Tree Estate photographing their space, setup and details prior to one of the tasting events. I don't think I've seen this particular color scheme at PTE, and I immediately fell in love with the way the gold and green elements meshed together. The green velvet was luxurious paired with the gold dinnerware and crisp white plates. The floral pieces were created by Sarah at Fleurish, the cake by Cream & Flutter, mini desserts by LA Gourmet, gold flatware by Palace Events, and hand lettering by Letters from Lindsey. I'm looking forward to photographing more weddings and events there in 2017!
You know it's going to be a great wedding day when you walk into the reception venue and the very first thing you see is the table layout you see in the first image below. I knew ahead of time a bit about Mary's interesting color scheme, but I really couldn't picture it in my head until I saw this. She pulled off green, gold and marmalade to PERFECTION. It was a gorgeous fall day, with a wonderful couple and their very accommodating friends and family. The grounds of the Champaign Country Club were full of great fall colors, which coordinated wonderfully with Zach + Mary's colors and flowers. The Endless Summer Band was a breeze to work with, and I took advantage of their colored lights to do some fun stuff with Zach + Mary's reception pictures. :) And it doesn't get much better than ending a wedding night with Curtis Orchard donuts and apple cider! Thank you so much for having me along to document your wedding day! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Leave a comment below for Zach + Mary, and after 50 comments, they will receive a complimentary 11x14" mounted print of their choice!
