Karen contacted me about possibly photographing her wedding to Dan at a friend's home in Lincoln, Illinois. The weather cooperated beautifully and the couple had a comfortable 11:30am ceremony at this wonderful, historic old home. Following the ceremony, we did a few portraits on the porch and the garden. They both followed my posing instructions well and looked so happy in both the posed frames and those moments in between. I thoroughly enjoyed my hour with them and their friends and family. Also through perusing my website, Karen caught on to my love of wedding cake, and brought me a piece to take home with me. Such a thoughtful gesture! Thanks & congrats, Dan + Karen!
Ashley + Brian planned an intimate wedding ceremony and dinner at Silvercreek restaurant in Urbana. They chose to go out for an hour and a half or so prior to the ceremony for portraits of the two of them together. We had planned to meet at Meadowbrook Park in Urbana, but it was kind of rainy, overcast and really windy, so we went with Plan B instead. I suggested the Business Instructional Facility on campus because of the great architecture and ample window light. It was the perfect compromise and I am so happy with these images! Congrats, Ashley + Brian!
