CASE STUDY

IdeaWorks Design & Print Studio

Brand work for:

IdeaWorks Design & Print Studio

Stacy and I have collaborated on some projects and for mutual clients together several times over the past few years. And in that time we’ve become friends as well! I love that her brand is bold, unapologetic, and colorful, very much like mine!

She has now done two brand sessions with me, and I know there will be more in the future! I love digging deep into her brand values and marketing needs, and filling those gaps in her image library so she never has to wonder what to post next.

One of Stacy’s biggest sellers is her stickers so we always incorporate those in some way. I also love her colorful visuals that make great eye-catching props. She also likes to demonstrate her attention to customer service and, of course her design skills, knowledge, and vast experience.

I needed fresh images... I was recycling the same ones over and over... I was able to identify where there were gaps. Now I have a much bigger library from which I can choose!

Where we started

Client Objectives

Goal #1

Fresh, new content

As mentioned above, Stacy identified the gaps in her marketing image library, and we worked to fill those spaces. Now she has a more robust image catalog, which we can continue to grow and evolve as her business and brand grows.

Goal #2

Audience connection

We wanted to capitalize on the personal service aspect of her business that tends to draw clients in and keep them as clients for the long-term. Showing Stacy’s face was a priority for that personal connection.

As all my brand sessions, we started with a questionnaire that Stacy filled out. From that I created a one-page session guide with our goals for the session, sample images that she pinned, prop reminders, and her logo, colors, and brand pillars. Having these all in one handy at-a-glance guide to use throughout the session is so helpful and ensures we don’t miss any key components during the session.

Leading up to the session, Stacy received a series of emails guiding her through outfit selection, props to gather and pack, helpful tips for hair & makeup, and reminders the week before and the week of the session. I want to ensure that we are both thoroughly prepared for the session and that the day of the session is a seamless and stress-free as possible.

With us now having two sessions under our belts, I can say that the second session definitely went very smoothly and we both understand each other’s brands so well that the session seemed almost easy! That’s what I want for you and your brand!

The Results!!

Goal #3

Showing processes

Stacy is doing more product and design education so it is helpful to have images that show her processes both with clients and in an office setting. Her business is very hands-on and storytelling images help capture that aspect.

Investing in brand photography is an absolute must for my business, and for that, I trust Holly. We’ve done multiple sessions, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Holly has a fantastic eye, understands my brand completely, and makes sure my personality comes through in every image.

Prioritizing brand photography in my budget continues to pay off — every time I use my images, I find new ways they add value and depth to my marketing. Booking regular sessions allows me to grow my collection alongside my needs and build a strong, cohesive set of images I can pull from for any scenario.

Don’t take my word for it…
